<p><em>Update</em>: having read the print version, my edited comments do seem overtly critical. The main thrust of my argument was &#8211; there are too many new digital channels for gov agencies to support, and opening up the data is the only way to get relevant information to travellers. The information wants to be free, and people want access to real-time personalised transport information.</p>
