It gives me, and the rest of the team, great pleasure in confirming dates and venue for the first WhereCamp to take place on European soil. For those not in the know, WhereCamp is a geo themed unconference -

“An unconference is a facilitated, participant-driven conference centered around a theme or purpose. The term “unconference” has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees and sponsored presentations.”

Thanks to the Guardian, we have a spiffy venue at their brand new offices in Kings Cross, London. We hope to attract old/young/hacker/professional so have gone for the Friday AND Saturday of March 12th and 13th 2010.

Tickets will be released in limited amounts at irregular intervals, stay informed by subscribing to WhereCampEU blog and Twitter.
